The combi machine for sheet metal and profile machining with minimum
On one machine side: sheet metal processing up to a format of 3000 mm x 1500 mm.
On the other machine side: profile machining with bar loader.
Both technologies united in the smallest space possible.
On the one hand, the STIEFELMAYER combi is a 2D laser cutting machine for machining level sheet metal up to a maximum size of 3000 mm x 1500 mm.
On the other hand, it is a laser cutting machine for profiles. Up to a perimeter of 100 mm and a maximum length of 6 m, feeding is carried out by a bar loader. Larger profiles up to a diameter of 250 mm and a maximum length of 2.5 m can be accommodated between the chucks. For profile machining, the profile is rotated and the machining head moves across the length of the profile.
The machine frame and the axes are designed as solid welded constructions. The X1-axis, X2-axis and Y-axis are guided by linear guides and moved by precision servo drives. The Z-axis is guided by linear guides and driven by a preloaded circulating ball screw.
The sheet metal rest is designed as a drawer indexing table. The tables move into the machine laterally. The individual drawers have a size of 1500 mm x 1500 mm. This format allows working in alternating operation. Coupling the two tables provides a large format rest of 1500 mm x 3000 mm.
Rotating axis with pneumatic 2-jaw chuck. The chuck jaws are designed as divided, exchangeable moulded jaws. The 2-jaw system allows clamping of all cross sections with moulded jaws. Feedthrough approx. 100 mm. Manually sliding tailstock as counter-bearing for long profiles.
The machine can be equipped with CO2 lasers or fibre lasers up to max. 3 kW.
